You can use The Mello Heat Patch anywhere on your body as long as it’s not applied directly to your skin. The patches are often used on the lower back or lower abdomen.
The Mello Heat Patch will start warming within a few minutes of opening, reaching it's maximum temperature of 50 degrees in about 30 minutes.
Do not reheat the patches or apply them directly to the skin. Avoid using them on the face, broken skin, bruises, or swelling. Do not use while asleep or for more than 10 hours in a 24-hour period. Avoid using them with other heat sources, pain rubs, or medicated creams. Do not bandage over the patches or use them if they are damaged. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant, diabetic, have circulation issues, nerve damage, a skin condition, or allergies to sticking plasters. Always store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children and pets.
No. Do not reheat the patch in any way. The Mello Heat Patch has been designed to warm up once to a safe, comfortable temperature. It's a natural reaction when the iron particles in the patch meets the air and begins to heat. This reaction can only happen once.
Avoid adding pressure to the heated area (for example, laying on your stomach with The Mello Heat Patch applied to your abdomen) as this can cause the heat to intensify. For this reason, we do not advise sleeping with it on.
The Mello Heat Patch is designed to be stuck to clothes due to its powerful heating ability. To avoid the risk of skin burns and rashes, we recommend to stick it to your inner-layers.
